Campaign for Real Ale

Sherfield Beer Festival

Saturday 30 September 2017

Following the outstanding success of the last eight years, the village of Sherfield-on- Loddon is getting ready to host another Beer Festival on Saturday 30th September.

Serving from 11:30am until 11pm, the Beer Festival attracts beers and ciders from many parts of the country.

Ale-lovers and families will be treated to a range of delicious food and snacks, plus live music throughout the afternoon and evening from local bands including the very popular Basingstoke Concert Band. All these will be enjoyed in the lovely Village Hall garden, weather permitting,

and to top it all there is a free – yes, free! - minibus shuttle service to and from the Beer Festival and Bramley train station from 6pm, courtesy of Jar’s Cars and sponsored by the White Hart.

Not a beer or cider fan? We will serve wine, lagers and soft drinks from the Village Hall bar too.

Ticket prices are the same as last year - only £4 if purchased in advance from The Shop, the White Hart and the Four Horseshoes. They are £5 on the day and children under 18 years old are free of charge when accompanied by an adult. No dogs except guide and assistance dogs.

Commemorative pint beer glasses are being sponsored by the Four Horseshoes and will be given to each adult ticket holder, subject to availability. The Beer Festival is raising funds for three charities once again this year – Sherfield Village Hall, St. Michael's Hospice in Basingstoke, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

We know it's going to be busy and full of thirsty people so bring a chair and come along to enjoy another wonderful Sherfield Beer Festival.
